An installation addressing issues of the gaze of the viewer and implications of the master narrative. Images on the right are of individual portraits from the perspective of a movie theater, as the center portraits gaze at the wall across the gallery in the center, and each portrait does the same, so the portraits at the ends are also gazing at the center of the wall. Images in slides float above the portraits addressing various issues and complex thoughts, while text at the bottom mimics the film strip audio.
Images across the gallery on the wall represent notions of mainstream representation. The announcement for the show is a ticket that says Admits Two, and people brought them to the gallery to gain entry, although this was implied and not mandatory. The back room rolled the credits from the installation.
