Skirball Museum

Blessings: World View was created for the opening show at the new Skirball Museum in Los Angeles, called Blessings and Beginnings. Eight chairs were painted with trees, a symbol of the gathering place for many indigenous cultures and early communities in the US. When the viewer sat on a chair, blessings were recited in numerous languages. Depending on how many viewers sat on the chairs at the same time, multiple blessing were heard together.
